Gary Vaynerchuck is interested in extending his book tour to San Diego and he needs our help! Gary (@GaryVee) is the host of Wine Library TV, and a pinnacle member of the social media community.
First and foremost, we are looking for San Diego bookstores or wine retailers (e.g., The Wine Bank or BevMo) that are interested in hosting a book signing for Gary Vaynerchuk’s 101 Wines Guaranteed to Inspire, Delight, and Bring Thunder to Your World.
The online exposure the for this bookstore and event would be very influential. Most of Gary’s fans blog, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube and Qik before, during and after the event. All of these references are good for your store’s website and search engine exposure, among other things.

I love it. Bring Gary to SD. Cask Room or Mellow Wine bar would be great venues. The owner of Cask Room would be a great contact for this event.

Wasabi Bratwurst <3 Gary Vaynerchuk. Sunny San Diego will be a perfect destination for business and pleasure. Does this event have to take place in a book store? What about the beautiful beaches?

Definitely The Wine Vault and Bistro (www.winevaultbistro.com). We can have a wine pairing dinner/book signing. This place represents everything GV talks about. Great wine, great friends and family environment. The owners Chris and Mary are amazing people. Lets try and do a wine pairing dinner there.

I talked to the Wine Vault and Bistro and they were interested. Can we make this happen? I would love a wine pairing dinner with GV there and with some of his wine recommendations. Wouldnt this be fun? I am sure it wouldnt be hard to sell out the dinner and I am sure everyone will buy the book. Wine Vault is a very interactive place. They bring in tons of wine makers for dinners so this would be no problem.

Do it Gary! I’d be there and I’d bring my posse.
My girlfriend says Bluestockings in Hillcrest is known for being progressive and hosting events. There’s also a cookbook-only bookstore in Kensington that she’s been to called The Cook. They have classes there so that might work.

Thanks to everyone for reaching out and helping bring Gary to San Diego. We clearly have the demand- now we need the bookstore. Wine retailers are helpful, but Gary has specifically requested a bookstore.
Who would like to reach out Warwicks and see if they would be interested in hosting?
